One my favorite things to do is bake! I think I have mastered Pecan Pie.  I use all dark karo instead of light karo. I also use pecan halves instead of chopped. 
    
2 Tablespoons butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup dark karo
1 cup pecan halves
1 unbaked pie shell

Cream butter and sugar.  Add eggs one at a time.  Add salt and karo.  Pour onto pie shell and place pecan halves on top evenly.  Bake 350 for 30-45 minutes.

*Homemade whipped cream is great with this!!!*

1 cup heavy whipping cream
2 Tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

beat with mixer until fluffy.
